Find the Ideal Motor Sports Forum

January 21st, 2008

Sharing an interest in motor sports with friends adds a lot to the entertainment. You can discuss a rally, how drivers performed or talk in-depth about their vehicles and the course. But it isn’t always easy to find someone with the same interests as your own. If all of your friends are into NASCAR and you happen to be more into Drift D1 Grand Prix racing, you might not share as much common ground as you’d like.

Whether it’s the upcoming Lisboa Dakar Rally or another motor sports event that’s got you excited, there are plenty of other fans who share your interests in forums online. You don’t have to settle for watching Rally movies and discussing motor sports you care little about. Just log on to a forum devoted to what you’re into, and enjoy what you love most instead.

You can find motor sports forums pretty easily using any major search engine. Do a quick search and start evaluating the results that are returned. Review the topics of the latest posts and read through some of them along with any responses. Some forums will be more active than others, and some may be too dull or too intense for your tastes. The more you explore, the more likely you are to find a forum that fits your style.

Keeping Your Car In Showroom Condition

December 24th, 2007

car.jpgHaving a nice car is one thing. Keeping is nice is another.

I confess right up front here that I love my car, and I am a bit fanatical about keeping her clean. But, there are some seriously cool auto care products out there that you need to have a look at, if you are a car enthusiast or even if you just want to make a good impression.

The category that I seem to spend an inordinate amount of money in is the auto detailing supplies section. I love making my beast look like it has just driven off the show room floor, and I love watching the reaction I get (especially from the ladies) because it is looking sweet.

To me good auto products are a lot like good sporting equipment, there is a lot of difference hitting a baseball with a wooden bat and with an aluminum one. A wooden tennis raquet versus a kevlar one. Mainly in the sense of how much effort you have to put in to do the job.
